Asheville Occupy Arrests
ASHEVILLE, N.C. --
Police arrested 7 Occupy Asheville over the weekend for unlawful assembly and impeding the flow of traffic. The arrests stem from a November 2nd march that violated state laws and blocked traffic in the downtown area.
Officers arrested and charged the following people:

-Natalie Nicole Nicolay, 21, of Jackson, TN
-Lisa Bain Landis, 53, of Pisgah Forest
-Joseph C. Bacanskas, 72, of Asheville
-Terry James Whittey, 21, of Hendersonville
-Trevor Alexander Hofvendahl, 21, of Waynesville
-Clare Marie Hanrahan, 62, of Asheville
-Hanna Antonina Lesky, 18, of Matthews
-Lisa Bain Landis, 53, of Pisgah Forest

Asheville Police are still trying to identify other protesters who participated in the illegal march. Once identified, officers will notify the remaining individuals of outstanding warrants so that they may voluntarily turn themselves in.
