Snakes eeK!!!
As we were driving up this property, we saw a black snake slithered across the road into the brush..When we passed it and surrounded the next curve, there was another black snake (atleast 3 ft) in the road sunning..Kristie wanted to pick it up and move it but i had other ideas like "turning around"..To many snakes in one area!! Even one snake is to many snakes.. Sorry snake lovers..Due to the heavy rains we had in the last two days probably caused the snakes to come out of this field to get some sun on this gravel road..This would be my guess.. No telling how many more snakes are up further..

Open Letter To My Son
Well Son, I think you would be proud of me today. I traded your surf pole and the extra reel for a computer for your daughter Raven . You know since you died I haven’t gone fishing or camping and our equipment has just sat in storage so I thought I might as well pass them on to someone who would put them to good use. A couple of months ago Raven and Brandi were playing around on Brandi’s computer and Raven really liked it and wanted one so I told her I will try to get one for her. So I thought what better way to share our stuff than to give them away I thought you would like that. Sometimes I sit at the cliffs and remember when we used to climb them at shout at the world we were king of the mountain and I can see your face smiling when you reeled in a fish and laughed. I no longer climb those cliffs I guess I’m getting too old. Your sisters don’t care much fishing or camping but I guess you know that so I thought I might as well do something about our gear sitting in storage gathering dust. The young man I traded with is your age or you would have been , he seemed to be a good kid. He likes to work on cars like you did and fish so I guess that makes him ok in my book. There is some other people I am going to give the rest to but that is later. Well I just gave away the last of our stuff to a young guy and his girl friend and they promised to use them a lot. Well son I have to go , your mom and I miss you a lot . Love Dad PostingID: 5983753

Miracle- Black and White Twins Again
Check out this cute story..
Black and white twins Hayleigh and Lauren Durrant proudly hold their new sisters Leah and Miya — who incredibly are also twins with different colored skin.
Their mixed-race parents Dean Durrant and Alison Spooner repeated the miracle after a seven-year gap.
When the first set of twins arrived in 2001, the couple was astonished to see that Lauren took after her white mom, with blue eyes and red hair, while Hayleigh had black skin and hair like dad Dean.
Then this year Alison, 27, found she was expecting again — and lightning struck twice.
She had twin girls again. And little Miya was born with dark skin like her dad and Leah is white like former recruitment consultant Alison.
“The girls just love Miya and Leah to bits. We didn’t think it was even possible when we had Lauren and Hayleigh — and it didn’t cross our minds that it could happen again. But we are just delighted that it has,” Dean, 33, of Fleet, Hants, said.,'','16x16',false);

A Surprise from my Job..
came in and asked my boss could she have me and her come to the office and talk.. By me being one of the newer employees, i had no idea what this was going to be about..To make a long story short, when we got to the office, our administrator wanted to thanked me for being so nice to the residents and said that she never heard of so many compliments about a new employee..Of course that made me feel good..So after the nice speech, she handed me what turned out to be a card and a fifty dollar check..I work with some very sweet and considerate people and yesss, i was suprised.. Money or no money, it pays to be nice..

What's wrong with this sign?

Guns and Religion..
Kristie and I were going through tennessee when we saw this sign.. I've always heard of a turkey shoot but never knew what it was.. For those of you who would like to know exactly what it is, here's a little history on the turkey shoot..
A turkey shoot is an opportunity for an individual or a party to very easily take advantage of a situation. It also implies that the "shooter" can't lose.
A "turkey shoot" is also a shooting contest where frozen turkeys are awarded as prizes. The shoot is most commonly held, using shotguns aimed at paper targets about 25-35 yards away. Original turkey shoots, however, dating at least to the time of James Fenimore Cooper, were contests in which live turkeys were tied down in a pen and shot from 25-35 yards. If the turkey died, the shooter received it as a prize. This gave rise to the military term (see below). Today, turkey shoots are still popular in rural America, where citizens are all likely to be familiar with shotguns. The winner is chosen according to which target has a shot closest to its center cross-mark. This removes almost all skill from the contest, and allows every shooter an equal chance.
In the military, a turkey shoot occurs when a group or team catch the enemy off-guard or out-gunned to the point of being unfair..

Finally Moved..(New House)
We are finally in our new house! Thursday was our first day.. While i was at work, kristie and her sister moved the rest of the stuff and our pets..When i got off of work on thursday, i joined kristie at the old house for some last minute cleaning but we decided to come back on sunday for the final cleaning..When we got to the new house and I imediately went in to see how our pets were doing..The poodle was fine but Mayfield and Sammy wondered what the hell just happened..Patches seemed to adjust pretty quickly as we knew she would but they are all fine now..After we got our bedroom together, Kristie made us a couple of sandwiches and we chilled out.. We didn't have cable right then but we had recorded stuff on our moxi.. We decided to look at Paranormal State which was about demons in a house that possessed a young girl..I know this wasn't the best choice since this was an unfamiliar house..((((((((shivers))))))))) Everything has went well..The cable guy came friday late evening..We got on the internet today.. So i'm getting back in the swing of things..
Holloween Night (Sorry-No pics)
Kristie and I went to a holloween party last night at a place called chasers..We entered a costume contest which kristie talked me into and she came in second place..She dressed up as a witch and i was something that came from the swamps of NC..LOL I never knew that she had the skills for doing face paint.. She really looked scary and crazy and she played the part really well too..We got there about 10:30 and we got home about 2:30.. The night was pretty fun but it felt good getting back home.. I'm kicking myself for not remembering the camera.. The truth is, we were tooooo scaryyy for pics!!! lol- I would have took tons of pics and video of us and friends but my brain was somewhere else and not on my cam.. One of our friends took our pic on a camera phone so maybe i can get her to email it to me so i can post it..Hope everyone had a safe and good holloween..
